The rookie’s girlfriend, Chloe Rodriquez, shared a snapshot of him decorating a Christmas tree while standing with his leg in a soft cast.

“too soon?” Rodriguez wrote, adding a Christmas tree emoji, on her Instagram Story.

The couple had holiday stockings hanging from the fire place, as well as a festive screensaver on the television in their living room.

Rodriguez, a graduate of California State University in Sacramento, was not pictured.

They have been dating since his playing days at Arizona State, according to her Instagram, and Rodriguez was by his side when the Giants selected him in the fourth round of this year’s NFL draft.

Skattebo suffered an open tibia fracture and ruptured deltoid ligament in addition to a right ankle dislocation in the 38-20 loss to the Eagles, according to ESPN.

The injury happened in the second quarter when Skattebo attempted to catch a pass over the middle, but instead his legs got tangled up as he was tackled from behind by Eagles linebacker Zack Baun.

He underwent emergency surgery in Philadelphia after the game.

Eagles senior advisor and security guard “Big Dom” DiSandro personally delivered food to Skattebo’s hospital room.

Coach Brian Daboll said Skattebo was “wheeling around” the team facility and attending meetings when he returned to New Jersey — adding that there are no plans for additional surgeries on the rookie.

Skattebo finished his rookie season with 101 rushes for 410 yards and five touchdowns.

The Giants (2-7) play the Bears (5-3) in Chicago on Sunday.
