Shannon Beador says David pulled the plug on their marriage

Despite their public ups and downs, Shannon Beador didn’t want her marriage to David Beador to end.

The “pull the plug on their 17-year union.

“It’s not what I wanted and it’s been really, really hard,” said Shannon, 53. “We went on a trip to Hawaii, which I kind of hoped would bring everything together, but he left the trip early. And when I came home, he said, ‘We’re done.’”

Shannon continued, “I said to David, when he told me it was over, ‘What happened? We had a couple of amazing years. And he goes, ‘We had a couple good months.’

“It was just a knife in the heart.”

The former couple’s tumultuous marriage became a prominent plotline on the series, including the aftermath of David’s extramarital affair.

Shannon and David are parents to Sophie, 15, and 12-year-old twins Stella and Adeline.

They announced their split in October.
