Serena Williams will wear Virgil Abloh x Nike to the US Open

Serena Williams’ new uniform is a grand slam.

The tennis champ, 36, will head to the US Open at the end of this month dressed in all-new Nike outfits designed by Louis Vuitton’s Virgil Abloh and dubbed “The Queen Collection.”

The 23-time Grand Slam winner’s ensemble for the big event will consist of a black one-shoulder dress with a full tulle skirt featuring Abloh’s signature Nike logo in quotation marks at the shoulder, as well as Williams’ name on the sleeve. A coordinated collared jacket with white contrast stitching and a matching bag will help take this look from the court to the winner’s circle.

The Off-White designer also created a pair of customized NikeCourt Flare sneakers for the tennis great, which feature neon yellow detailing and a silver glitter back with matching custom socks featuring Williams’ personal logo.

“With Serena, we have one of our generation’s most powerful, inspiring athletes as the muse,” Abloh said in a press release for the collection. “I was trying to embody her spirit and bring something compelling and fresh to tennis.”

A limited-edition release of a dress, jacket and two Nike The Ten sneaker styles inspired by Williams’ look will be available at select Nike locations in the United States beginning in late August, with prices ranging from $130 for the shoes to $500 for the dress and $900 for the jacket.

So while you’ll never be able to deliver a serve like the G.O.A.T., at least you’ll be able to dress like her.
