Kaley Cuoco would stay on ‘Big Bang Theory’ for 20 more years

The Big Bang Theory” next year.

“It’s broken my heart,” she told “Extra” on Sunday. “I am so sad that it’s ending. For the record, I would have done 20 more years.”

Cuoco, 32, said that when the cast heard the news that at least some of them hoped they were being pranked.

“I was bad, but everyone was crying,” she admitted. “I think we were all hoping for a giant ‘bazinga!'”

While she hasn’t heard of any “Big Bang Theory” spinoffs aside from the current “Young Sheldon,” she said she’s eager to potentially work with Chuck Lorre again, saying, “[If he said] ‘let’s do something tomorrow,’ I would.”

It was revealed last month that the CBS ratings juggernaut will end next year.

Sources Jim Parsons wanted out to pursue other projects and that the network opted to cancel the series instead of moving forward without the fan favorite character Sheldon Cooper.

Parsons, 45, didn’t comment on the rumors of his desire to exit, but did profusely thank the cast, crew and writing staff of the show for 12 seasons of success.
