Comedian Matt Rife, who dated Pete Davidson: “Run.”
Rife, 23, told TMZ that he dated Beckinsale for a year when she was 43 and he was 21, and that the relationship was “complicated, for sure.”
“A lot of ups and downs,” he added.
The MTV star did not disclose why things didn’t work out between them, but said he was optimistic that the outcome would be better for the 45-year-old actress and 25-year-old “SNL” star.
“I’m hoping that they both found … or are getting out of it whatever they want to get out of it,” Rife said. “Enjoy it while you can. I hope they’re both happy. I hope that it can build to where it’s an established good relationship.”
But before leaving the TMZ camera crew, Rife left Davidson with one final warning: “I don’t really have any solid advice — just be careful.”
In response to whether he would ever rekindle a romance with Beckinsale, Rife said, “Absolutely not. Not a chance.”
