Mariah Carey celebrated turning 49 at Tao Uptown on Monday following her sold-out show at Radio City Music Hall — just don’t call it her “birthday”!
The singer was seen with twins Moroccan and Monroe, boyfriend Bryan Tanaka and her team, and a spy told us: “Mariah was seated at the head of the rose-petal-layered table under the Buddha statue . . . The twins led a ‘happy anniversary’ [what Carey calls her birthday] toast to Mariah.”
The Grammy winner has said, “I don’t count years but I definitely rebuke them . . . I have anniversaries, not birthdays, because I celebrate life, darling.’’
Carey was heard discussing heading off to Disney in Orlando to continue celebrating.
Her “anniversary” is Wednesday.
