Chef Mario Carbone brought his NYC power eatery Carbone to Chicago for NBA All-Star weekend — as a pop-up headquartered at Tao in the Windy City.

LeBron James’ business partner Maverick Carter, Kevin Durant’s manager and Thirty Five Ventures partner Rich Kleiman and marketing guru Steve Stoute hosted a power gathering called “The Mixer” there that brought out athletes, tech moguls, hedge-funders, models, rappers and NBA owners alike.

Spotted mixing it up were 2 Chainz, Knicks owner James Dolan, Nas, Jack Dorsey, Anthony Davis, Rick Ross, Michael Rubin, Marc Lasry, Karlie Kloss, Rich Paul, Nets owner Joseph Tsai and others.
