Denise Richards hits the beach in slit-up-to-there gown trimmed with chains

She’s got a leg up on summer style.

Denise Richards heated up the beach in a racy black dress as she attended an event for her latest TV show, “Paper Empire,” in Cannes last night.

The 52-year-old former reality star rocked a long-sleeved black gown that was held together with gold chains as she posed in the sand, revealing plenty of leg with the outfit’s high slit — and risking a wardrobe malfunction.

She wore her hair in a straight, half-up style, sporting heavy black eyeliner and a glossy peach lip.

Richards kept her accessories simple to let the sexy dress shine, wearing a pair of gold hoop earrings.

The dress is reminiscent of Elizabeth Hurley’s infamous 1994 Versace safety pin ensemble, although Richards’ version features a cutout at the hip, keeping the top half of the look covered up.

Richards — who stars alongside Robert Davi, Robert Gillings, Bleona Qereti and Carol Alt in the cryptocurrency thriller — posed on the beach with her co-stars as they leaned against huge lit-up letters spelling out “Empire.”

While she went barefoot in the sand, the mom of three added a pair of black heels as she later walked the red carpet.

The husband, Aaron Phypers, 50, at the event, sticking her tongue out as she shared a kiss with the actor.

Aside from her fictional drama, Richards appears to be jumping back into the “Housewives” franchise after exiting “RHOBH” in 2020.

The actress had a place at the table for a group dinner that was taped for the Bravo show last month, seemingly marking her return to the reality series.

Perhaps she can bring her new dress along for an episode.
