Serena Williams reveals she’s pregnant with baby No. 2 at Met Gala 2023

Serena Williams’ second baby is on the way!

The athlete announced that her and husband Alexis Ohanian’s Met Gala 2023 red carpet Monday.

The pregnant tennis pro’s budding belly — and new bob hairstyle — were on display in a black Gucci gown as she posed for pics.

Williams’ plunging dress featured sheer sleeves and a white tulle skirt.

She completed the curve-hugging maternity look with a layered pearl necklace and matching headband.

“I’m feeling good. I can breathe. I can stop not hiding,” the tennis pro, 41, gushed on her way inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art, joking about her big plans to “not drink.”

Minutes ahead of her red carpet reveal, Williams shared her pregnancy news with her Instagram followers.

“Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala,” she captioned sweet social media snaps cradling her stomach.

Williams and Ohanian, who have been daughter Olympia.

The little one was born in September 2017.

Two years later, the Olympian told Page Six that she wanted to give her child a sibling as close to her age as her own older sister, Venus Williams.

“It’s getting farther and farther away,” Serena said in the December 2019 interview. “I’m like, ‘That ship has sailed.’ We’ll see, I obviously want more.”

By the time she ready to “add to [her] family,” telling Vogue she and Ohanian, 40, had “been trying” to conceive.

The tennis star wasn’t the only Met Gala attendee to announce a pregnancy, with Karlie Kloss debuting a bump of her own earlier in the evening.
