Sophie Turner drops child abduction accusations against ex Joe Jonas following amicable custody agreement

Sophie Turner has dropped the child abduction claims against estranged husband Joe Jonas – three months after reaching an “amicable” custody agreement.

Attorneys for the former couple have asked a judge in their federal case in New York to dismiss Turner’s previous filing, in which she claimed the Jonas Brothers singer abducted daughters, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1, amid their divorce, according to TMZ.

In September, Turner, 27, filed a lawsuit against her ex, requesting to secure “the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained,” per court documents obtained by Page Six at the time.

The “Game of Thrones” alum claimed in the docs that Jonas, 34, began the “wrongful retention” on Sept. 20.

She said they agreed during Christmas 2022 that they would make the UK their “forever home” and would begin looking for schools for their oldest daughter, Willa.

Turner then claimed that the “Cake By the Ocean” singer withheld their daughters’ passports so they couldn’t leave the US.

However, Jonas denied that he ever “abducted” his girls via a statement from his rep.

“Less than 24 hours later, Sophie advised that she wanted to take the children permanently to the UK. Thereafter, she demanded via this filing that Joe hand over the children’s passports so that she could take them out of the country immediately,” the rep told Page Six.

Since then, the former couple have been locked in a contentious custody battle over their two girls.

However, back in October, the “Sucker” musician and the mom of two — who reached a temporary custody agreement for the toddlers that will last through January 2024.
