Draya Michele said the negativity surrounding her 17-year age gap with boyfriend Jalen Green is “kind of weird.”

“We try to stay off the internet and not really listen to that kind of stuff,” the 39-year-old reality star newborn baby girl.

The Houston Rockets player interjected, saying, “We also don’t care.”

“We block it out and mind our business,” Michele added.

The “Basketball Wives” alum said she does not understand why people have a “problem” with their romance.

“Two adults being in love, I don’t know why that would rub people the wrong way,” she said. “It’s kind of weird. Love is love at the end of the day.”

When Michele — born Andraya Michele Howard — announced she was pregnant in March, it sparked backlash on social media, with several users labeling her a “predator” for having a baby with a much younger man.

“17 years is wilddddd. Having fun with a younger guy is cool bc yall both grown . Having a baby by one that’s the same age as your son speaks a lot about your character as a person,” former “Basketball Wives” star Mehgan James tweeted.

“Oh Draya really thought posting her pregnancy reveal during Women’s month meant that we were gonna congratulate and celebrate her?” wrote another person.

“Draya really tried to use International Women’s Day to announce her pregnancy as if we don’t know she was a deadbeat to her first son, and is now pregnant by a 22-year-old who’s the same age as her son while she’s pushing 40,” said a third.

Amid the criticism, Michele posted about “being misunderstood.”

“Get comfortable being misunderstood. Only a fraction of people will be able to truly grasp your essence. You are not on anyone else’s timeline of comprehension,” the post shared via her Instagram Story in March read.

“Also, it’s none of your business how others choose to perceive you. Most High sees you clearly – let that be enough.”

The former VH1 star and Green welcomed their baby girl in May, three months after the NBA star reportedly welcomed another child with a 23-year-old woman named Myah Lakopo.

Michele and Green have not revealed the name of their infant.

The Mint Swim founder is also mom to sons Kniko, 22, and Jru, 7, from previous relationships.
