Kendall Jenner goes blond for NYFW in major transformation

Back to blond!

Kendall Jenner sent shockwaves through the fashion community when she debuted golden blond hair for NYFW on Wednesday.

The model, 28, took to Instagram to show off her newly dyed hair pulled back in a clip before styling it loosely with a black headband.

“blonded,” she captioned the upload.

The blond was not only a fan favorite but an industry favorite when her A-list friends and family gushed over the look online.

“Damn,” her sister Khloé Kardashian wrote.

“exactly,” Hailey Bieber, who recently welcomed her first baby with husband Justin Bieber, chimed in.

“Omg in love,” Simon Huck added while her fellow Victoria’s Secret model Elsa Hosk commented, “Love.”

Jenner enlisted the help of celebrity hair colorist Jenna Perry and celebrity haircutter Jessica Gillin for the fresh look.

“It took me two days to take her this gorgeous shade of golden blonde,” Perry told Vogue.

Perry added that Jenner was “really inspired” by the “’90s and Caroline [sic] Bessette-Kennedy,” referring to the late wife of John F. Kennedy Jr.

Just days before her transformation, Jenner had been spotted around NYFW with her signature brunette locks.

The “Kardashians” star strutted her stuff at the Alaïa show held inside the Guggenheim Museum in the Big Apple on Friday.

Two days later, Jenner watched the US Open men’s championship with her long brown hair.

However, she didn’t attend the Tory Burch show in Brooklyn Monday despite being the face of their new perfume.

Unlike her famous sisters, Jenner tends to wear her hair naturally but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t experimented every now and then.

The 818 Tequila founder went blond for the first time when she walked the Burberry show for London Fashion Week in 2019.

She has also sportedMarilyn Monroe for Halloweens in 2020 and 2023, respectively.

Before going blond, Jenner colored her hair red in February 2022. She kept the color for a few months before returning to her natural hair later that summer.

Most recently, Jenner made headlines for looking exactly like Kris Jenner when she sported a short black bob with bangs that resembled her mom’s signature ‘do.
