Injections, masks and face tape: Kim Kardashian tries out wild beauty treatments in Korea

Leave it to Kim Kardashian to travel around the world for the best beauty treatments.

The reality star recently returned from a girls’ trip to Korea, where she took advantage of the country’s cutting-edge resources, and shared some photos on Instagram Wednesday of her over-the-top spa experience.

Kim, 44, traveled with sister Khloé and pals La La Anthony and Stephanie Suganami, along with beauty expert Vanessa Lee of The Things We Do.

“Korea is known for their innovation in cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures and prioritizes efficiency and quality. … I always like to go straight to the source of where professionals are mastering their techniques,” Lee told ET.

“I had the opportunity to guide the girls with my expertise. … This trip was about getting a little more invasive for me. … Korea’s hyperpigmentation technologies, body tightening devices, and biostimulator skin boosters have been on my to-do list.”

It’s unclear exactly which treatments the group tried — but in one red-faced pic, Kim’s eyebrows and hairline are covered with tape, perhaps to protect them during a laser treatment.

In another, a professional can be seen injecting a dark liquid — possibly blood — into the Skims founder’s arm.

“I experienced a variety of more advanced procedures firsthand and studied their potential for our patients and Kim learned about beauty and business for Skims,” Lee told ET. “It was so much fun and was a girls’ trip for the books.”

Kim has long been a fan of squeamish beauty treatments; she was one of the first to sign up for Dr. Barbara Sturm’s “vampire facial” back in 2013, a procedure during which patients have their blood drawn, plasma isolated from red and white blood cells, and subsequently microneedled back into their face.

More recently, Kim tried out the viral salmon sperm facial that’s also been linked to Jennifer Aniston and Miley Cyrus.

Khloé is almost as adventurous; she posted her own face mask selfie on Instagram, showing her face completely covered in gauze and goopy product among other snaps from the trip.

Far from being freaked out by Kim’s photos, her fans wanted a full breakdown of exactly what she tried during her trip.

“We need the deets of all that skin care!? 😍,” one commented begged. A second wrote, “We need all the Korean Skincare Secrets!!!”

Others praised her for showing her makeup-free and freshly treated face.

“Getting more gorgeous by the day 😍🔥,” one wrote, while another said, “Natural Kim is the best Kim.”

“Thx for showing real skin texture in the last pic 🙌,” a third shared.

Earlier in their getaway, the girl group posed for an in-flight photo shoot featuring Kim’s controversial new Skims face wrap, which probably came in handy post-treatments.

It should come as no surprise that the mom of four would travel around the world to test out different products. In fact, she once declared she would “eat literal poop” if it made her look younger.
