Keith Urban revamps breakup anthem with shady lyric change after Nicole Kidman divorce filing

Keith Urban revamped a breakup anthem with a shady lyric change just days after Nicole Kidman filed for divorce.

The country singer performed Thursday night at Giant Center in Hershey, Pa., as part of his High and Alive World Tour, marking his first show since the split made headlines.

While singing the breakup song “You’ll Think of Me,” Urban tweaked the lyric “take your space and take your reasons” by adding the phrase “your bulls–t reasons,” according to Us Weekly.

While he neglected to sing “The Fighter,” which was inspired by his early days with Kidman, he did make sure to include her and their daughters — Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14 — in a photo slideshow during his “Heart Like a Hometown” performance.

Notably, Maggie Baugh, the guitarist who’s found herself at the center of the divorce, skipped the show.

In the months leading up to Kidman, 58, filing to end her 19-year marriage to Urban, he and his band performed “The Fighter.”

During an April rendition of the track, Urban, 57, sang the lyrics, “I was born to love you,” as he looked and pointed at Baugh, 25.

During a more recent performance, he changed the lyrics from “When they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter” to “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player.”

One day before Urban and Kidman’s separation revelation, Baugh posted a video of the lyric change on Instagram and captioned it, “Did he just say that👀?”

While her involvement with Urban and/or his split from Kidman remains unconfirmed, rumors have been swirling that he’s already “with another woman.”

Though Baugh has yet to address the situation, her dad spoke out in her defense — but he kept his comments vague.

“NO, just no,” Chuck Baugh posted on Facebook alongside a TikTok claiming that “Maggie is allegedly responsible for Keith’s divorce from Nicole Kidman.”

Chuck went on to tell the Daily Mail, “I don’t know anything about it other than she’s a guitar player for him.”

“It’s more of a musician thing than a dating thing,” he added before admitting that he has “not heard one way or the other.”
