Why Hailey Bieber’s name has mysteriously vanished from iconic smoothie at LA supermarket

The $20 Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie at Erewhon was an instant hit when it launched in 2022, drawing crowds to the luxury grocery store.

Its popularity kept Bieber’s name on the menu until it recently mysteriously disappeared.

“Her contract ended, so we can’t say Hailey Bieber,” a smoothie cashier at Erewhon told Page Six.

However, customers are still ordering the “Hailey” in droves.

Workers at the Beverly Hills Erewhon say they make at least 600 a day, more than any other smoothie on the menu.

While Hailey, 28, did not come up with the recipe herself, according to an Erewhon smoothie worker, and her partnership is said to have expired, her stardom continues to skyrocket sales.

“All the customers don’t know. They still say Hailey Bieber. She’s not getting anything, but it’s good for us,” the worker said.

“It’s still the same ingredients, it’s still sweet. It still has the spirit of Hailey!” said the worker of the pink-and-white drink, which consists of organic strawberries, almond milk, bananas, avocado, dates, maple syrup, collagen peptides, sea moss gel and coconut cream.

Another employee claimed the $20 drink is the store’s “best” menu item and is “by far [their] most popular” smoothie. NY Post

“It’s the best one. By far our most popular,” the worker said. “You’re going to love it!”

Reps for Bieber and Erewhon did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

Originally launched in 2022, the smoothie was meant to be a temporary menu item. Typically, such offerings would be removed from the menu after a month.

But, its popularity — due, in part, to the model’s promotion — quickly cemented the smoothie as a staple fixture.

In May, Bieber talked up the smoothie during her Vogue Magazine “In the Bag” interview, crediting the drink for keeping her skin blemish-free.

“I have one every single day. I would say it’s probably 90 percent of the reason my skin looks the way it does.”
