Who is Bianca Censori? Meet the Yeezy designer who married Kanye West

Censori called it quits with West — who now goes by Ye —after two years of marriage in February 2025 soon after the Grammy winner made several controversial and antisemitic moves.

West and Censori were spotted wearing wedding bands after the private ceremony, but they did not appear to file a marriage certificate to make their union legally binding; however, it was later revealed that the two legally married on Dec. 20, 2022, in a secret ceremony in Palo Alto, Calif.

Their relationship has been marked by provocative outings since going public, including being caught having a racy moment on a boat in Italy.

Who is Bianca Censori?

Censori has worked as an architectural designer for West’s company Yeezy since November 2020, per her LinkedIn page.

Before working with West, Censori studied at the University of Melbourne until she graduated with a bachelor of architecture in 2017. She later went back to school to get her master of architecture from 2019 to 2020.

Where else has Censori worked?

Censori is also an entrepreneur and started Nylons, a jewelry company, after graduating high school.

“I started playing around with mesh, then putting crystals inside the meshing, just making really simple thin chokers,” she said in a 2016 i-D story. “I started selling those, and from there it slowly kept growing.”

Censori has also worked as an architect at an Australian company and as a design consultant.

Is Censori on social media?

Censori deactivated her Instagram account around the same time news broke that she allegedly married West.

Before doing so, she had approximately 16,500 followers.

How did Censori meet West?

It’s unclear how Censori and West became romantically involved, but LinkedIn lists Yeezy employees at around 80 people, so it’s likely they grew close while working together.

Censori and the “Heartless” singer first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted dining together at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills on Jan. 9, 2023, just days before their originally reported nuptials made headlines.

West also teased their romance in a song titled “Censori Overload,” which he released in early December 2022. One of the lyrics read, “And the Bible said, ‘I can’t have any more sex ’til marriage.”

What else does Censori do?

Since Censori has deactivated her social media profiles, it’s unclear what else she enjoys doing or who she has dated in the past.

She did, however, make a major change in her life just prior to eloping with Ye when she altered her long, brunette locks to a bleach-blond pixie cut.

Less than two weeks after the couple’s jaw-dropping Grammy’s stunt, Censori decided to part ways with the “Vultures” rapper amid some of his other contentious choices.

In February, West selling merchandise branded with swastikas on his website, all of which has been taken down.

A source told Page Six that Censori decided to leave the Yeezy designer after two years of marriage because she’s “had enough.”

“The Swastika shirt [he was selling] was the last straw. She told him that’s not who she is, and that she can’t be associated with that,” the insider shared. “He’s saying that he has dominion over her and then he’s selling those shirts. It reflects on her, and she doesn’t want any part of that circus.”

However, the split may not be permanent as the source notes, however, that West believes Censori will “come back to him” eventually, as she’s done in the past.

“He’s saying that she’s just ‘mad at him,’” the source shared, “but right now, she’s told him that she’s completely done.”
