OJ Simpson’s kids: Meet his 5 children

OJ Simpson may be best known for his time on the football field — and in court — but he was also a father of five.

The late Buffalo Bills player welcomed three children with Marguerite L. Whitley during their 12-year marriage, which ended in 1979.

The athlete moved on with Nicole Brown Simpson, and the actress gave birth to a son and daughter during their time together from 1985 to 1992.

When Nicole was murdered in 1994 along with her friend Ron Goldman, OJ was charged with the crime but acquitted in “trial of the century” the following year.

“The Juice” writing in a statement via X that the 76-year-old had “succumbed to his battle with cancer.”

OJ and Whitley tied the knot in 1967, becoming parents in December of the following year when their daughter Arnelle was born.

She was the first to take the stand as a witness for the defense during her dad’s trial, testifying that he was “emotional,” “distraught” and “out of control” over news of Nicole’s death (via CNN).

Arnelle’s support for OJ continued after he “humbled” dad be sent home so her family could “move forward.”

She called OJ her “best friend” and “rock” at the time.

“This has been really, truly hard,” she told the Nevada courtroom. “I know that he is remorseful. … As a family we recognize he’s not the perfect man, but as a man and a father he has done his best.”

Arnelle lived in Fresno as of 2017, USA Today reported.

OJ and Whitley’s second child, son Jason, joined the family in April 1970.

Jason was in the public eye multiple times before his dad’s trial, attending OJ’s Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame induction in 1980 and his “Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult” movie premiere in March 1994.

Three months later, he made headlines following the actor’s infamous car chase. Jason came to the Brentwood home during the standoff and was ushered into the home in handcuffs by police.

The Los Angeles Times reported in 2016 that OJ’s eldest son had been working as the chef at Atlanta’s St. Cecilia restaurant for two years.

Prior to their divorce, OJ and Whitley welcomed daughter Aaren.

The little one, who was born in September 1977, died just ahead of her 2nd birthday when she drowned in the family’s swimming pool.

Aaren passed away a week after the August 1979 incident, according to the New York Times.

OJ and Nicole tied the knot in February 1985, welcoming daughter Sydney eight months after their Los Angeles ceremony.

The little one and her brother, Justin, were cared for by their grandparents and aunts upon Nicole’s murder, but OJ regained custody after his acquittal.

Sydney attended Gulliver Academy before obtaining a degree in sociology from Boston University in 2010.

A local Florida outlet reported in 2016 that Sydney lived in St. Petersburg and worked in real estate after starting now-inactive Justin Communications with Justin and Arnelle.

Justin, who was born in August 1988, followed his sister to St. Petersburg where he works as a realtor, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

“It’s a great place to live, why not?” he asked the outlet, calling the city “gorgeous.”

The “extremely excited” dad-to-be asked for “tips and pointers” while revealing his partner Lana’s pregnancy news via Instagram in February 2022 — his final post on the platform.
