The MediaWiki Stakeholders group consists of MediaWiki developers, admins, users, consultants, and hosting providers who cooperate in order to improve the software and advocate the needs of MediaWiki users outside the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) and its projects.

This would help with changes like T273375: Raise minimum supported MySQL version to MySQL 5.6 (or later) for MySQL, and Izno added a subtask for T333405: Expand the set of bundled extensions and skins in MediaWiki 1.44: T327006: Bundle Extension:TemplateStyles with MediaWiki core.
