If the Appearance button isn’t available, you can’t change the font.

Do any of the following:

Change the font size and style: Click the A buttons to make the font smaller or larger, then choose a font below Book Font.
Change the page color: Choose White, Sepia, Gray, or Night (if available).

Turn off pagination in a book

You can scroll through a book instead of turning the pages.
