LifeHack,” the cyber heist thriller that premiered at SXSW earlier this year to critical acclaim, is now heading to the American Film Market, where Highland Film Group is launching international sales.

The film — which currently holds a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes — marks the directorial feature debut of Irish filmmaker Ronan Corrigan, based on a screenplay he wrote alongside Hope Elliot Kemp. Michael Fassbender executive produces with his partners Daniel Emmerson and Conor McCaughan at DMC Film (“Kneecap,” “The Kitchen,” “Scrapper,” “Calm with Horses”).

Inspired by true events, “LifeHack” follows Kyle and his crew of cyber Robin Hoods, who hack scammers and steal from the people the internet loves to hate. But when they attempt a digital heist targeting an infamous crypto billionaire, they’re pulled into high-stakes cyber warfare with consequences in the real world. In it’s review, Variety described it as “pulse-pounding” and an “absolute treat” for fans of the Screenlife format.

The ensemble cast includes Georgie Farmer (“Wednesday”), Yasmin Finney (“Heartstopper,” “Doctor Who”), Roman Hayeck-Green (“Sex Education”), YouTube influencer James Scholz, Jessica Reynolds (“House of Guinness,” “Kneecap”) and Charlie Creed-Miles (“Peaky Blinders”).
