Tesla will stream its Gigafactory launch party on its website, follows a press preview earlier this week that The Verge attended.
The Gigafactory is an enormous battery factory that is the culmination of Musk’s vision for his company. It will, when fully online, be able to build enough batteries to supply more than a million Model 3 cars per year. It should be able to support a run-rate of 500,000 Model 3s by 2018.
Will be live streaming the Gigafactory launch party tonight. Check https://t.co/7FlnbruWpL this eve.
