And they’re poorer than America. And before Snowden PROVED orwellian surveillance was happening, people dismissed it as conspiracy woo-woo.
MAYBE IT’S REALITY but a reality people aren’t comfortable with the idea of!
If anything is possible you have to accept that it may be true and that the idea of it is not automatic crazy thinking.
So again, I return back to…realms that aren’t as fuckable by people with a lot of money: real life conversations, with REAL people. Thank fuck we have that.
Cos no, I don’t believe the American government can change our thoughts with electromagnetic fields through the air.
My thoughts are way too subversive for that.

I am seriously smelling NSA (or whatever agency that wants to shape public opinion for their own gain) agents here, I mean they have billions of dollars so why not just hire people to sit all day long and build long-term profiles with harmless comments and then boom when an article on snowden comes out, come out in this choir to make normal citizens assume it’s other citizens thinking low on snowden and then boom you’ve shaped what they think of him and thus the FREEDOM that he fights for.
I am not really a conspiracy theorist but some of these comments seem REALLY artificial here.

If the government is really doing this, then the Internet is really being fucked with. I guess that makes meatspace (and conversations with REAL people in REAL situations), all the more relevant than before!

You guys are like parrots. ‘He broke the law so he deserves punishment’. Are you even THINKING for yourself for one second??? Do you really just love laws like that to automatically believe they are right and the implementation of them (as it stands or rather doesn’t stand, e.g. the FISA court) is the thing that should be followed?
Maybe THIS is what’s been happening…I can’t believe this difference since last time I saw Snowden being discussed. which was over a year ago.

Why is everyone so against Snowden now? I don’t even care about my privacy anymore and I still consider Snowden a HERO for civil rights.
Can someone who has followed the change in sentiments and who understands human behaviour insightfully, explain to me why there has been this shift? Is there jealousy, character hate based on childish-level emotional response to Snowden’s weasel-like face, brainwashing from NSA-sponsored media campaign over the last three years…WHAT is it?

Elon Musk truly is the Jobs of the my generation. I am suddenly aware of my obsessive-like interest in all the small details of this small landing when I wouldn’t normally be interested in this stuff one little bit! That’s fanaticism!
Jobs did this for tech for people too. Made it something they loved.
No one approaches Elon Musk’s ‘aura’ in tech and he’s only just beginning.
