the phone isn’t sluggish.. it sometimes feels sluggish because of certain design problems with iOS… for example when you tap a key on the keyboard it scales up to let you know it’s registered a touch… It’s a very satisfactory experience.. Don’t know why Apple feels you don’t need something similar for every button..these things were much better before iOS 7
just have a problem with how information is displayed in ios sometimes….
like after opening a contact card the icons for messaging and calling are just not bold enough…they should big, bold, unmissable… here they almost merge with the rest of the ui… this particular issue has arisen post ios 6…
here is another….try asking siri for the name of tom cruises wife… he has had three spouses..siri displays the names in such a small size its almost unreadable… its mind boggling something like this is allowed by apple
it becomes light blue only if you press it firmly. if you press lightly nothing happens. also the point here is, there should be a significantly more obvious touch response than just turning light blue… see the surface reactions section in the link i posted above…
have to agree with you about the photo app
you cannot have buttons that are so small even if the touch targets are normal sized.. its just a horrible experience… buttons should be big enough and spaced out so that they can be tapped easily without having to worry about missing the target.. i feel they need to rethink this in other places also..
