The nature of the smartphone game has become a tragic one. One where Apple makes moves that are regressive or downright stupid, and others following blindly thinking they can capitalize on those moves. I am very grateful for the fact that the Android ecosystem has so many phone makers. If it was just one like in the iOS system, us fans of Android would have to put up with ridiculous phones for years.

Enter HTC and their new phones. A cross between a Galaxy S7, a Glossy iPhone, Pixel (AI) and LG V10. Taking the worst of all 3 and combining it into one retarded package meant to finally sink the company. No headphone jack, a glassy body that looks like a giant iPhone, with a secondary screen and another useless AI assistant with less data driving it than Google's.

At least Samsung learned a lesson during the S6 saga and improved literally everything with the S7. At least Samsung realized, that a step backwards is not forgivable with the Android crowd. That only Apple's fanbase tolerates and defends stupid crap like no headphone jacks. Hopefully they will once again improve on everything with the S8. Hopefully, Google, LG, Huawei, etc. will also keep moving forwards.

Sadly, HTC will not be with them after this year.
