Generally sticking with the major brands should keep you safe — SanDisk, Samsung, PNY, etc are all fairly reliable. The best recommendation I can give is to ensure you’re buying a new card from an authorized retailer to make sure you’re getting a genuine card.

So the reason I recommended the Samsung over the SanDisk model is that the Samsung one is ranked for a U1 UHS Speed Class, while the SanDisk doesn’t. That said, it’s still a good choice if you’re looking to save a bit!
