The 64GB SE was originally $499 and dropped to $449 in September. So this model could see the exact same thing happen at this year’s iPhone event. But yeah, for now it’s back up to $499. Added a line on that. Thanks.

Yeah the name is peak tech branding. The CES demos I saw were impressive — but any human would be beyond happy with either. The main seller for the Sony is that sound, which is really neat. (Though if you’re buying a $5K TV, I’mma guess you’ve got a sound system already…)

Bass is somewhat improved compared to the Playbar, but otherwise it’s the same product in a different form factor.
