    Do you use `pip search`? If so, what do you use it for, & why do you use it vs. searching on ? I was surprised to learn today that the search endpoint of PyPI's legacy XML-RPC API receives the most traffic, with 85.5 million requests in the last 3 months.

    I made a thing: It shows what versions of Python the top 360 packages on support, based on classifiers. E.g., there's only one package that supports Python 3.8, but there's dozens that still support 2.6, which is five years past it's end-of-life!
