Welcome to the site of the 2nd annual Wikimedia conference.
Thanks to all for helping make Wikimania '06 a terrific event.

The 2007 Wikimania conference was held in Taipei, Taiwan, from August 3-5. Please visit the the Meta-Wikimania page.

Wikimania 2006, the second annual international Berkman Center for Internet & Society at the Harvard Law School campus. Both a scientific conference and a community event, Wikimania brought together members of the various Wikimedia projects in order to exchange ideas, build relationships, and report on research and project efforts. It also provided an opportunity for Wikimedians and the general public alike to meet and share ideas about free and open source software, free knowledge initiatives, and wiki projects worldwide.

We thank you all, speakers, attendees, people who helped the conference ... all of you who showed an interest to realize this event. See you again at the next conference.
