The Parent Trap alum also indicated she’s looking forward to dancing again and returning to the ABC reality show.
Hendrix updated people on her condition via an Instagram video Wednesday night alongside her pro partner Alan Bersten.
“I am starting pain management today,” Hendrix said before offering an update on her dance future. “I’m not dancing today, I’m not dancing tomorrow. We’ll be back at it Friday. And I’m just getting ready to be in that ballroom next Tuesday.”

Bersten thanked fans for their support for Hendrix and their team. “We can feel it and we appreciate it so much,” he said.
She added, “Yeah, it’s palpable. All of your messages, I’m seeing it all, and I just want you to know that first and foremost, I’m OK, and second of all, I’m ready to go and just thank you so much for all the love and support that you’re showing and thank you to the entire Dancing with the Stars team for taking such good care of me. So we will see you next Tuesday out on the ballroom.”

Bersten revealed that “something happened with [Hendrix’s] rib” during rehearsals on Tuesday morning. She was carried off the ballroom floor in a stretcher and taken away in an ambulance.
Hendrix’s Halloween dance was judged based on rehearsal footage. And the audience at Tuesday’s live show delivered a standing ovation when her and Bersten’s scores were revealed.
And doctors cleared her to stay in the competition if she made it through Tuesday’s elimination, which she and Bersten did.
Hendrix also shared in a video posted Tuesday that she injured her ribs during her “Defying Gravity” performance on Wicked night last week and that day they just “seized up.”
“And I couldn’t move,” she added. “They brought me to the hospital. The doctor has said with a day or two of rest I should be able to continue and that’s exactly what I want to do.”
