I am a digital media toolsmith, creating tools and infrastructure to aid creation of my own and others artistic and visual digital media experiments. I am the maintainer and lead developer of GIMPs next generations engine, babl/GEGL - infrastructure libraries where I for the more than the last decade have been working actively on providing high bitdepths, HDR, CMYK and non-destructive editing and capabilities/possibilities to GIMP - and other software. GIMP does not redistribute donations as payment for contributions (though GIMP does sponsor a development machine for me). By being my patron you help ensure that I can continue to work improving, documenting and disseminating existing and ongoing projects, research and experiments of various technical and creative projects that aid creative expression. I enjoy figuring out how to make computers treat visual, and other media
 in new or interesting ways. Ranging from graphics and audio processing 
through user interfaces to data structures for media representation. You

Work with issues in gitlab, integrating work from others and at least a handful releases of babl and GEGL each year.

Many people use or benefit from the code I give away, many small contributions do add up; though consider using a higher tier part time - or my account on liberapay.com/pippin to avoid credit card processing fees taking a larger cut.
