EUROPE is gearing up for all-out war with Russia and is miles away from any peace deal in Ukraine, a top Vladimir Putin mouthpiece has raged.

Moscow – and said that efforts to end the Russian invasion had stalled.

Baselessly pointing the finger at Ukraine, the Putin pawn said: “There is currently a pause, the situation is stalled… it is stalled not through our fault.”

Peskov added: “They are being egged on in every way by the Europeans, who believe that Ukraine can win the war and secure its interests by military means.”

It comes as mad Vlad continues his vicious invasion of Ukraine – blitzing cities and forcing his troops through the frontline.

The Russian president has even deployed various hybrid warfare tactics across the West as part of a huge sabre-rattling campaign.

HUGE BLAST

Moment huge blast erupts at one of Vlad's major oil ports after Ukraine strike

NUKE ALERT

Putin risks nuclear chaos after striking TWO substations at Ukraine nuke plants

Undersea cable-cutting, mysterious drone incursions and fighter jet operations have all been attempts at testing Nato‘s waters.

In response, Europe has tightened its defences, increasing spending and putting forward a collective front to his unwarranted aggression.

High-stakes peace talks between Donald Trump and Putin were expected to take place last month, but were instead cancelled.

Ukraine have been able to hit back with devastating counter-attacks, most recently rocking Russia‘s port town of Tuapse on the Black Sea with cutting-edge Flamingo missiles.

The struck port is crucial for Russian oil exports, which Moscow uses to fuel its war against Ukraine.

Ukraine has repeatedly bombed Russian oil assets, leading to a collapse in export earnings as well as high prices for petrol and filling station queues.

With a range of 1,865 miles and a 1,150kg warhead, the domestically produced Flamingo is capable of hitting deep inside European Russia and even western Siberia.

It also comes after Ukraine said they suffered their near biggest loss since 2023 – after Russian forces stormed the key town of Pokrovsk.

Kyiv said on Tuesday morning that they were losing the key city – which has been dubbed the “gateway to Donetsk”.

It followed days of Russian claims that its forces were advancing on the key city in a pincer movement.

Giving up Pokrovsk would be the largest loss since Russia’s capture of Bakhmut in May 2023 after a bloody nine-months-long siege.

Current situation in Pokrovsk

by Will Miller

RUSSIAN forces have surged deeper into eastern Ukraine, closing in on the key city of Pokrovsk, where fighting has intensified dramatically.

Videos shared on social media show troops riding into Pokrovsk on motorbikes, clinging to the roofs of battered cars and vans.

Many vehicles are missing doors and windows as they roll through debris-strewn streets.

One clip, filmed through thick fog, shows a convoy of armed soldiers inching forward.

It is an eerie scene some Telegram users compared to Mad Max’s post-apocalyptic chaos.

According to Ukraine’s military, about 300 Russian soldiers are now inside the city.

Moscow has reportedly used the dense fog as cover to move in more troops over recent days.

“We are losing Pokrovsk,” warned a Ukrainian MP on Tuesday morning.

Once home to 60,000 people, Pokrovsk has become a battlefield of Soviet-era apartment blocks, with only a few hundred civilians remaining.

House-to-house fighting rages inside the city, while Russian forces have secured two narrow corridors leading into the centre from the south and along its western edge.

Putin has chucked countless men into the city’s meatgrinder frontline.

The tyrant lost a record 25,000 troops there last month.

The attacks come after the Kremlin faced political mayhem over the past week as Putin’s right-hand man was dramatically exiled.

Rumours were swirling over the future of veteran foreign minister Sergei Lavrov after he reportedly spent the week frozen out of top-level meetings.
