SYDNEY Sweeney has fuelled James Bond rumours with a cryptic comment as she prepares to launch her new lingerie line.
The Sun revealed how the blonde bombshell, 28, is strongly tipped to be a Bond girl in the next 007 film.
In July it was revealed how Sydney was the top choice to be the next sizzling Bond girl.
The actress of the moment reportedly has the backing of Jeff Bezos, boss of Amazon — which now has creative control of the series.
She even attended his summer wedding in Venice.
After months of speculation, Sydney has finally broken her silence on the matter.
Speaking to Variety, she was asked if she could respond to ongoing Bond girl rumours and said: “I can’t.”
This response leads to speculation that she is up for the role.
Realising what she had said, Sydney then added: “I don’t know.
“To be honest, I don’t know all the Bond rumours, but I’ve always been a huge fan of the franchise, and I’m excited and curious to see what they do with it.”

Sydney was then pressed further about if she would want the part.
The actress replied: “Depends on the script. I think I’d have more fun as James Bond.”
The new interview comes as it is reported that Sydney is getting ready to unleash her own lingerie line.
The star is known for her incredible figure and raunchy photoshoots, so is now turning it into a business.
According to Us Weekly Sydney’s clothing project is being backed by Ben Schwerin, a partner at private equity firm Coatue.
The company recently had a $1billion investment from Jeff Bezos and fellow tech giant Michael Dell via their Coatue Innovation Fund.
Meanwhile, in the summer Sydney was linked to more Bond rumours due to the fact that new director Denis Villeneuve is a friend, and keen to cast the White Lotus and Euphoria actress.
A movie source said: “Sydney is the top name on the casting sheet for Bond.
“Denis believes she is hugely talented, as well as having an alluring appeal to younger generations, vital in modernising the franchise.
“They’ve hung out together a lot and he has admired her stratospheric rise.
“Plus Sydney has the quality of being athletic and able to perform physical scenes, as well as being feminine and following in the legacy of Bond girls.”
Adding further fuel to the Bond girl fire, Sydney was pictured last year chatting to former James Bond star Ana de Armas, 37, at the Toronto Film Festival.
The Bond franchise’s 26th film will go into production next April at Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire.
The plot is being written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and will involve the dangers of AI.
James Norton are among the favourites to replace Daniel Craig as the titular character — whose last film as Bond was 2021’s No Time to Die.
But The Sun revealed how one actor who definitely will not be taking the role is popular choice Tom Holland.
