
A SINGLE mother has revealed how to make a Christmas dinner with a budget of just £10.

As well as buying discounted meat, Charlene also stocks up on supermarkets slash them down to 10p.
Charlene got her potatoes from Morrisons for £1.15, which she boiled to make roast potatoes and mash, but was able to buy carrots, parsnips and Brussels Sprouts for just 10p each with her More Card, which she then cut up and seasoned.

The savvy saver also got red cabbage for 75p and mini pigs in blankets for £2.25.
Rather than splashing the cash on goose fat, Charlene used rapeseed oil, which is a much more affordable alternative.
As well as this, instead of buying pre-made Yorkshire puddings, to pocket pennies Charlene made her own, as she continued: “Made my Yorkshire puddings to cut down the cost – ingredients cost about 40p.”
Showing off her finished meal, which looks delicious, she gushed: “Final cost is £10.70 and can easily feed a family of five and definitely more with little ones.”

Shop via outlet stores – you can save loads of money shopping via outlet stores like Amazon Warehouse or Office Offcuts.
They work by selling returned or slightly damaged products at a discounted rate, but usually any wear and tear is minor.

Charlene’s mummybudgets, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 1.9 million views, 28,500 likes and 795 comments.
But social media users were left totally divided by Charlene’s Christmas dinner – while some thought it looked “banging”, others wondered why she hadn’t cooked turkey.
