Broken Beeb

BBC bigwigs — from its current chairman to former star presenters and reporters — lined up yesterday to insist it’s not institutionally biased, remains world-class and can be trusted.

In which case, why did Director-General Deborah Turness quit?

The twin resignations of Tim Davie and Deborah Turness will do little to cure the liberal groupthink that still infects all corners of the CorporationCredit: Alamy
