LIDL Ireland shoppers are set to love a new middle-aisle item that will keep them warm and toasty in bed during winter.
And the gadget has landed in stores right as Ireland has been warned to brace for temperatures plummeting as low as -4C and possible snow in just a few days.
The Silentnight Electric Blankets are now available in stores nationwide for a limited time and the prices start from €14.99.
The electric blanket provides a quick fix to make your bed warm and toasty during the winter without having the need to turn on the heaters.
It’s a great alternative to hot water bottles, which can be risky due to potential burns from leaks if not properly sealed or deteriorate due to age.
The hot product comes with three heat settings for complete control, allowing you to set it to the lowest, middle, or highest setting, depending on how warm you want your bed to be.

And with the product design, it can ultra-fast heat up for instant cosiness, meaning you don’t need to wait for too long to be fully warmed up.

The single electric blanket is priced at €19.99, the double costs €24.99, while the king-sized retails at €29.99.
However, shoppers with the Lidl Plus app can avail a discount of up to 25 per cent, meaning it will cost them €14.99 for a single, €18.74 for a double and €24.99 for a king.
Despite being a Lidl Plus offer, shoppers can still avail of the discount by downloading the app from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or similar app stores.
All they need to do is sign up and select their local store of choice to see their discounts, which change every week for produce and middle aisle bargains.
Once that’s all done, you have to redeem the deal under the “treats” section and check out with the electric blanket.
