RAPPER The Game has defended his own reportedly strict parenting techniques after posting a picture of his daughter on Instagram.
The Grammy-nominated artist, 43, posted a picture of his daughter going to a party hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs this week.
The Game’s daughter, Cali, 12, matched a metallic silver dress with a white faux-fur coat and sneakers to the party.
Combs threw the sweet 16 birthday party for his twin daughters.
The Game, also known as Jayceon Taylor, captioned the picture: “Somebody please tell the LORD to help…. She was just 2 years old like a week ago…. Now my baby is 12 years old, growing up & it won’t stop.”
He later added that he and his ex, Tiffany Cambridge, discussed their daughter’s outfit.
The added comment on the post says: “DISCLAIMER: Before the internet get to INTERNET’n, me & her mother both agreed to let her do her make up for the young & beautiful @the_combs_twins sweet 16 birthday party.”
Cali received heaps of praise from other celebrities.
Model Winnie Harlow said: ” 12?! gorgeous girl!”
Designer Tanaya Henry chimed in: “She is so pretty!!!!”

Other commenters were not so impressed with Cali’s look, saying she wasn’t old enough to wear such a mature outfit.
One commenter said: “Why she dressed like that for a 12 year old.”
Another accused: “Pretty but yikes. I would NEVER LET MY 12YO dress like the girls you be bringing home.”
The Game saw the questions about his parenting and has responded in a comment on The Shade Room’s Instagram post about his daughter.
“I’m gonna say this once so people who aren’t her parents get it,” his comment reads.
“My daughter is 12 & both of her parents are more than strict.”
“Tiffney is a school teacher with a masters degree & 2 other degrees who is an amazing parent & is very capable of raising our daughter to be great even if I wasn’t in the picture… but I am in the picture so…”
He said that both parents wanted Cali to be confident in her outfit – they allowed her to do her makeup.
He also added this was a very different look for her – that Cali typically dresses like a “tomboy” and frequently wears Doc Marten boots.
According to the post, Cali is a straight-A student and is normally shy.
At the well-attended birthday party, Cali saw Diddy’s twin daughters get matching Land Rover SUVs.
The Game is best known for his 2005 album “The Documentary.”
