POPULAR travel influencer Anunay Sood has tragically died aged 32.
Sood, who was a passionate traveller and became a social media star, died during his trip to Las Vegas, his devastated family announced.
The Dubai-based Indian travel influencer explored more than 46 countries – and had a social media following of more than a million.
Paying touching tributes, his family wrote in a statement: “It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing.
“We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy as we navigate this difficult time.
“We humbly request you to avoid gathering crowds near personal property.
“Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May his soul rest in peace.”
Just days before the news of his death, he attended the Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance, a luxury car event.
His last post was with Fast and Furious actor Sung Kang, in which he wrote in the captions: “Still can’t believe I spent the weekend surrounded by legends and dream machines. Which one would you take for a spin??”
The travel expert also shared pictures from an automobile event that also featured Horacio Pagani, the founder of Pagani Automobili.

Fellow members from the influencer community were shocked by Anunay’s sudden death.
Social media star Cameron Biafore, who was also on a Las Vegas trip, said: “You were such a bright light and I was grateful to be able to experience that even for a moment.
“Rest in peace sweet Anunay. Your impact and love for life in this world will always be remembered.”
Anunay was recognised in Forbes India’s Top 100 Digital Stars list for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024.
It comes after another travel influencer who fell seriously ill after collapsing at a party on New Year’s Eve has died following a lengthy health battle.
Popular vlogger Vanessa Konopka was forced to stay in a hospital in the Philippines for months as she lost her ability to eat and walk, according to her devastated boyfriend.
Doctors diagnosed Vanessa with pneumonia and severe liver damage when she was rushed in for treatment.
The Solingen-native was left bedridden by the illnesses as they took a toll on her body for weeks after the ill-fated party on the beautiful vacation island of Boracay.
