Party Favor and Nitti Gritti were successful solo DJs and producers before they joined forces in 2019 to form the hotly tipped (and aptly named) house duo SIDEPIECE. • Ricky Mears, aka Nitti Gritti, grew up in Haiti with missionary parents. His pre-SIDEPIECE credits include co-producing Bad Bunny's “200 MPH,” off the Latin trap star’s 2018 debut album, X 100pre. • Dylan Ragland, aka Party Favor, hails from Park City, Utah. Before teaming up with Nitti Gritti, he amassed more than 400 million streams via collaborations with Sean Kingston, A$AP Ferg, and Gucci Mane, among others. • The duo quickly made a splash with the 2019 single “On My Mind,” a collaboration with scene veteran Diplo. • “On My Mind” reached No. 17 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart and spawned remixes by house contemporaries like MK and Purple Disco Machine. • In 2020, SIDEPIECE remixed American DJ and producer John Summit’s hit “Deep End.”
