Runners can be picky about their gifts for the runners in your world that they’re sure to love. I’ve been running for more than half of my life — since elementary school — and I even competed as a Division I track-and-field and cross-country athlete for TCU and UC Berkeley. That means I know a thing or two about gifts for runners — items that are delightfully useful and can help take their training to the next level.
Drawing on my favorite running-related items — plus the recommendations of other avid runners, coaches, and Strategist staffers — I compiled the best gifts for runners with my colleague (and fellow runner) Jeremy Rellosa. Whether they’re tackling their first miles or collecting medals, this guide will offer ideas at a range of price points. Just note: We didn’t include any running shoes on this list because finding the best pair of kicks will depend on the fit, feel, and giftee’s preferences. (And, of course, we’ve got a other gift guides for all types of gifting inspiration.)
