Saved episodes are automatically downloaded by default. To change this setting, choose Podcasts > Settings, click General, then deselect Download When Saving.
Download an episode
Go to the Podcasts app Sync podcasts between your Mac and iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
, then choose Save Episode.
