Xbox Subscriptions Terms & Conditions

All Xbox subscriptions in the bulleted list below require acceptance of the Microsoft Services Agreement (microsoft.com/msa) and the applicable Terms & Conditions below.
Any subscriptions not listed below are subject to the Microsoft Store Terms of Sale (We may update these terms at any time. When we post changes to these terms, we will revise the "last updated" date.

Promotional Offer Terms:
Sign in for your available offers. Promotional offers may be for new members only and/or not be valid for all members and are only available for a limited time. Offers available in selected regions only. Credit card required. After promotional period, subscription automatically continues at the then-current regular price (subject to change), unless cancelled, plus applicable taxes.
Recurring Billing:
By subscribing you are authorising recurring payments made to Microsoft at the intervals you selected, until cancelled or recurring billing is turned off. For more details, see account.microsoft.com/services) or on your Xbox console before the next billing date. Charges may be increased with at least 30 days notice as described in the Microsoft Store Terms of Sale. You can receive a refund within 30 days from your initial purchase by cancelling your subscription (unless you are notified in a particular product offer that your purchase is non-refundable). This does not affect your additional rights under applicable law.
If a third party is billing you for your subscription, contact them for information about billing, cancellation and refunds.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscription Terms:
Use your active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership to play games on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles and compatible Windows 10/11 PCs (see limitations below for S mode and ARM devices), and stream select games (where available) to your supported devices. Availability and performance may vary by device. Some game titles are only playable on some platforms. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gives you access to 400+ console and PC games, new games on day one, cloud gaming, online console multiplayer, EA Play and other benefits (cloud gaming in select markets only). Note: Purchase of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate automatically upgrades your existing Xbox Game Pass (Essential, Premium, PC, Console) and/or EA Play membership(s) to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at the current conversion ratio. Use your active Xbox Game Pass Premium membership to play games on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles and compatible Windows 10/11 PCs (see limitations below for S mode and ARM devices), and stream select games (where available) to your supported devices. Availability and performance may vary by device. Some game titles are only playable on some platforms. Xbox Game Pass Premium gives you access to 200+ console and PC games, cloud gaming, online console multiplayer and other benefits (cloud gaming in select markets only). Note: Purchase of Xbox Game Pass Premium automatically upgrades your existing Xbox Game Pass Essential (formerly Core) membership(s) to Xbox Game Pass Premium at the current conversion ratio. PC Game Pass Subscription Terms:
Use your active PC Game Pass membership to play PC games on compatible Windows 10/11 PCs (see limitations below for S mode and ARM devices). Availability and performance may vary by device. App download, Windows update(s) and storage required (account.microsoft.com/services. Notice before purchase of add-ons, DLC, consumables, virtual currency, subscriptions or other items (sold separately): To continue using these items, (1) if your membership terminates you must reactivate your membership, and (2) if a game leaves the catalogue, you must buy the game separately. Requires download(s) (significant storage, broadband, and ISP fees apply) and Microsoft account. May require additional hardware and subscriptions. Age restrictions apply. Discounts are based on Microsoft Store price, are not combinable with other offers and are not redeemable for cash. Discount offers exclude titles within 30 days of launch and are not available with selected titles. Xbox Game Pass for Console Subscription Terms:

Xbox Live Gold is now Xbox Game Pass Essential.
Xbox Cloud Gaming Terms:
Requires an Xbox Game Pass subscription that includes cloud gaming and supported controller (Game Pass subscriptions and controller sold separately). Select regions (xbox.com/cloud-devices). Streaming limits apply. Server availability, wait times, streaming quality, session limits, access and cloud gaming catalogue will vary over time, by Game Pass plan.

Requires high-speed internet connection (ISP fees apply). Best performance will be achieved at rates of 10 Mbps on mobile devices, 20 Mbps on consoles, PCs and tablets and 5GHz WiFi or mobile data connection. Streaming performance is affected by internet connection, user location, device and other factors. Your gameplay on other devices may be limited. Streamed games may have limited functionality, for example:

Limited audio outputs;
Limited game save storage (cloud saves only);
Limited companion app support; and/or
Limited accessory and peripheral support.
