Set email notifications on iPad

You can change your Mail notification settings and choose which mailboxes and email threads to receive notifications from.

Mute email notifications

To reduce interruptions from busy email threads, you can mute notifications from messages in a conversation.

Go to the Mail app Customize the Mail toolbar.

Receive notifications about replies to an email or thread

You can set up mail notifications that let you know when you receive email messages in your favorite mailboxes or from your VIPs.

Go to the Mail app > Notifications > Mail, then tap an alert style to turn it on or off.
